Friends

When i think about those people who are currently sharing an apartment or house with their friends, i thank my lucky stars that i do not have to go through all that...

It's not that i am crazy or anything like that, but whenever i hear about friends' sticky situations, i am so happy that i do not have to live with that... The thing is, living with friends is not as wonderful an idea as one may imagine it to be... I should know because i've been there, done that...

That's why i think it's better to be living with strangers... Frankly speaking, that can be quite nerve-wrecking as well... I mean, who have absolutely no idea, whatsoever who those people are... That's why people choose to live with friends...

I've heard of friends who let their housemates "bully" them because they are friends and so as to avoid an ugly situation and ruin the friendship, they say nothing...

Well... The thing is... When people become friends, the two or more people are still living apart from each other and that you may think that you know a person really well... However, when living in close quarters, things are just not the same... It's more "in your face" kind of thing and not everyone can accept that... Living together in a confined space, you'd learn more about the people you are living with... You'd soon discover more about the person's personal habits and all that... Sometimes that bring friends closer, other times, it pushes them apart...

So for all those who are considering living with friends, do keep in mind what you are risking... Things are not as perfect or wonderful as you imagine it to be...

As for me, i am enjoying my life and friends... Living with stangers isn't that bad... Perhaps i'm just lucky i got the good ones...
